COMPANY STRUCTURE
The core teams in the company manage projects from inception to final commissioning and handover. These projects are predominantly the group’s own, however a few have been undertaken for clients.
Professional services from architects, engineers, attorneys, geologists, land surveyors, town planners, etc. are managed and co-ordinate into our projects. Structural and Civil Engineering services were often performed in-house by Chris Combrinck and Gerhard Odendaal, and still are by the latter. This would include foundation design, water, storm water and sewer network design.
Project feasibility studies are conducted, designs arranged and done, approval obtained, cost estimates done, budgets prepared, and finance arranged by our internal core teams. With the scope of the work clearly defined and managed, execution can start.
Our project office is equipped to establish and manage contracts with all the trades and disciplines required. We perform the complete project management service which includes the contract, quality, safety and financial aspects of a project. Both ‘labour only’ and ‘supply and fit’ contracts are being entered into.
We have established relationships with Service Providers from all building trades. Although our relationships with these Service providers are managed contractually, they frequently participate in the earlier planning and design of our projects. These integrated efforts and commitments result in well co-ordinated work and an improved final product.
The newly formed Property Marketing and Sales Division will be up and running soon and will focus on the selling and leasing of all the projects done by Porta Property Group. This division will also offer their services to external parties and will provide a highly professional property marketing service focusing with a team of consultants on Residential Project Marketing and Commercial and Industrial Sales and Leasing.
The knowledge, experience and capacity of the company position itself ideally to perform new residential, industrial and commercial development projects. It is equally well equipped to perform refurbishment of commercial, industrial and residential buildings where attention to detail is required.
